ESEE-PR4-BO Knife Black Oxide

The Camp-Lore Series was developed in response to demand for traditional, straightforward bushcraft knives. Its designers bring a range of specialist backgrounds and practical experience. Camp-Lore knives feature simple, traditional fixed-blade designs that have been used in the field for years. ESEE builds the Camp-Lore line in the USA using 1095 carbon steel blades and removable Micarta handles. Each Camp-Lore knife includes a traditional pouch sheath made in the USA from leather supplied by one of North America's oldest tanneries. For wilderness chores, a simple and straightforward design offers a practical approach. The ESEE Camp-Lore PR4 is Patrick Rollins' interpretation of Horace Kephart's classic design. The original prototype was made by James Gibson and extensively tested by Patrick during outdoor-skills classes, off-trail backpacking, hiking and camping. The Rowen-built production PR4 features a 4.19-inch blade, a 4.75-inch handle, a 0.125-inch-thick 1095 high-carbon steel blade, a 90-degree spine for use with a ferro rod and a leather drop sheath.
