This steel is suitable for demanding utility use but may rust or stain if not properly maintained, particularly around the edge and laser engraving. Users should keep the blade clean and properly lubricated. A dry-film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH is recommended. The Izula kit includes paracord, a cord lock, a large split ring, a small split ring, a ferro fire-starting rod, an emergency whistle and a plastic snap hook.
