Cudeman Tonka Axe 166-C

This Cudeman axe pairs traditional materials with modern tool steel to deliver a compact, capable head for camp and woodcraft tasks. The 21 cm (8.25") satin-finished axe head is ground to a clean cutting face, 5 mm thick and 12 cm across, giving a dependable balance of bite and control. The blade is made from Böhler N-695 stainless tool steel and heat treated to 59/60 HRC for long life and good resistance to corrosion. The handle is polished deer antler with a red spacer and a satin A-304 stainless ferrule, offering a tactile, natural grip and distinctive appearance. The head is anchored with a stainless allen screw and an internal brass-threaded sleeve for secure, serviceable assembly. A brown leather sheath is included for safe storage and transport; the axe weighs approximately 690 g (sheath approx. 90 g). Ideal for campsite chores, kindling and fine woodcraft where a compact, well-made axe is required.
