The Cudeman fixed-blade combines purposeful design with robust materials for reliable field performance. A 10.5 cm (4.1") ground drop-point blade in molybdenum‑vanadium steel offers a satin finish and a 3.8 mm spine for strength during chopping and general cutting tasks. Heat-treated to 54–56 HRC, the steel provides a practical balance between edge retention and ease of sharpening. The full-tang construction is finished with a 12 cm black Micarta handle and a red spacer, secured by stainless Allen screws and a threaded brass inner bushing. Practical touches include a thumb notch for control, a reinforced Micarta front section to aid batoning, an integrated push-style striker to assist fire-starting by friction and a hammer pommel for light striking tasks. The knife ships with a black leather multiposition sheath and weighs approximately 220 g (sheath approx. 120 g), making it a compact, capable tool for campsite and outdoor utility work.
