EL CUDEMAN KAIMAN is a purpose-built fixed blade developed in collaboration with Opus Knives Ⓡ for bushcraft and outdoor enthusiasts. The full-tang design and 16 cm blade provide a balance of strength and control for wood carving, food preparation and shelter construction. The blade’s satin finish, flat grind and spine jimping deliver dependable cutting performance and safe thumb placement when performing detailed tasks. Manufactured from Böhler N-695 stainless steel and hardened to 59/60 HRC, the Kaiman resists corrosion while retaining a keen edge under prolonged use. The 12 cm Juma green handle with a black spacer and flat aluminium rivet is shaped for ergonomic handling, and the supplied multi-position black leather sheath plus lanyard pin make it straightforward to carry in the field. At approximately 335 g (knife) with an additional ~145 g for the sheath, it’s a substantial tool suited to regular outdoor use.
