The El Cudeman JJSK 1 was designed in 2013 by Juan Jose Sánchez, founder and director of the JJ Adventure survival school. Built as a practical survival tool, this fixed blade combines a stout 5 mm spine and a hollow-grind clip-point blade with a pronounced striker notch for easy sparks from a firesteel. The full-tang construction and satin-finished blade give a dependable balance of strength and precision for demanding outdoor tasks. Comfort and utility are central to the design: a black satin Micarta handle with a red spacer fits the hand securely, while spine jimping and a hardened pommel striker add grip and impact functionality. The knife ships with a multi-position black leather sheath with red stitching and a complete leather adapter kit (644-N) that includes a sharpening stone, signal mirror, sundial, flint, firesteel and 2.80 m of red paracord — a ready-to-use package for survival and bushcraft applications.
