Cudeman JJSK-1 Survival Knife

The El Cudeman JJSK 1 was designed in 2013 by Juan Jose Sánchez, founder of JJ Adventure, as a purpose-built survival knife that combines practical field features with durable construction. Its 12 cm hollow-ground clip-point blade in Böhler N-695 stainless steel is satin-finished and hardened to 59–60 HRC, offering reliable edge retention and corrosion resistance. A pronounced striker notch on the blade makes scraping a firesteel effortless, while the 5 mm blade thickness delivers strength for demanding tasks. Built on a full-tang structure, the satin black Micarta handle with a red spacer sits naturally in the hand and is secured with a stainless Allen screw and a threaded brass inner liner. The handle includes a lanyard pin and a hardened pommel that doubles as a glass breaker; a push-style striker feature supports friction-based fire-starting techniques when used with the supplied kit components. The included black leather sheath is multi-position with reinforced rivets and belt loops for versatile carry and an adapter to hold a sharpening stone and firesteel — a practical package for serious outdoor use.
