The El Cudeman MT-5 is the flagship fixed-blade from Cudeman, launched in 2012 and celebrated worldwide for its balance, reliability and straightforward, utilitarian design. The full-tang blade is engineered from Böhler N-695 stainless steel and heat-treated to around 59/60 HRC, delivering a durable edge with good corrosion resistance. Blade geometry is a flat grind with a drop-point tip and a satin finish, offering predictable cutting performance and easy maintenance. Built for practical use, the MT-5 features a satin-finish A-304 stainless bolster and a black Micarta handle with red spacers for secure, ergonomic control. The butt has a striking pommel and the blade spine has jimping to improve grip confidence. It ships with a robust black leather multiposition sheath with reinforced rivets and belt loops for vertical or horizontal carry, plus an adapter for a firesteel and flint — a reliable package for general outdoor and utility tasks.
