The El Cudeman MT-5 is the brand’s best-known fixed-blade model, introduced in 2012 and updated over time with improved steel, ergonomics and a premium leather sheath. Built with full-tang construction, the MT-5 combines a 5 mm-thick, flat-ground drop-point blade with a balanced cocobolo handle for controlled outdoor, bushcraft and general utility use. The Böhler N-695 stainless-steel blade is hardened to 59–60 HRC, providing good edge retention and corrosion resistance. Practical details include spine jimping for secure thumb placement, a stainless-steel pommel feature, lanyard and pin provisions, and a brown multi-position leather sheath. A comprehensive adapter kit containing a sharpening stone, signal mirror, sundial, ferrocerium striker and 2.80 m of paracord is also included.
