In Africa, the Sjambok (Sham-Bawk) is traditionally used as a cattle prod, whip and riding crop. Unlike many western-style whips, which require a rolling crack to operate, the semi-rigid Sjambok is handled with a rod-like motion. The weight, speed and flexibility of the Sjambok’s lash provide responsive performance for traditional agricultural and outdoor utility use. This synthetic polymer version of the classic Sjambok features a thick injection-moulded lash and a soft, comfortable Kray-Ex handle designed to resemble braided leather. Made entirely from super-tough polymers, it is highly durable and able to withstand weather conditions that can cause a traditional leather whip to break, crack or mildew.
