Cold Steel Kreigsmessers Sword

The Kreigsmesser is Cold Steel's variation on the popular Grosse Messer, presented as a collectible piece for historical display. It features a traditional Nagel, or nail, on the outside of the hilt in place of the side ring found on the Grosse Messer. The fully sharpened blade is made from 1060 high-carbon steel with a hard spring temper. The hilt includes a steel guard with long quillons and a full-tang handle fitted with a steel pommel. Rosewood grip scales are retained by four copper pins and feature a slightly curved finger trough. The handle accommodates one- or two-handed handling. Supplied with a scabbard.
