Description
The Double Safe Hunter, designed by Andrew Demko, is a budget-friendly, high-performance folding knife. One glance may recall Cold Steel knives of yesteryear, as it was modelled after the popular old-school Voyager. Its wide, clip-point blade measures 3 ½” and is made from 8Cr13MoV steel, tempered to 57-58 Rockwell hardness. The blade is suitable for tasks ranging from intricate cutting to heavier-duty field use. The glass-filled nylon (GFN) handle is thin, ergonomically pleasing and features a replaceable plastic pocket clip and a lanyard hole. Plastic pocket clips are gentler to the hand and to surrounding surfaces, reducing snags and scratches compared with steel clips. Cold Steel designed the Double Safe with user safety in mind: its advanced rocker lock incorporates a secondary safety mechanism that, when engaged, is highly resistant to shock and impact. Compact and capable, the Double Safe Hunter offers a reliable, affordable option for outdoor and everyday use.
