Cold Steel Counter TAC II

It's been observed that fashion is fleeting. What's "in" now will soon be "out" of style. The knife industry, like any other, is subject to the same winds of political correctness and notions of popular taste. At Cold Steel, they try to stay abreast of the currents of change, but also recognize that good design never goes out of style. The Cold Steel Tantos, Trail Master, and Voyagers illustrate this point very well. The Counter TAC boot knives were designed with this simple philosophy in mind. The full-tang blades are made from stonewashed AUS-8 stainless steel that is vacuum heat treated and sub-zero quenched for strength. They are hollow ground and end in a sturdy, needle-sharp point suited to precise tasks, and the edge is razor sharp. The ergonomic Kray-Ex grip is comfortable and adaptable; the deeply textured surface and double guard help reduce the risk of slipping during use. Finally, each Counter TAC is shipped with a state-of-the-art Secure-Ex sheath, complete with a removable boot/belt clip and lashing slots.
